After serving three years as an officer in the U.S. Navy, C. Bruce Metzler spent roughly 30 years in the investment and finance industry, including 20 years with Salomon Bros, Inc. where he served as a Vice President in the Taxable Bond Department, and ten years as Vice President and Head of Bond Trading at the John Hancock Mutual Insurance Company. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He later received an MBA in finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
