Meg Campbell is CACS’s founder and Head of School. She is the former Executive Director of Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound and was also a lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Education. A graduate of Harvard-Radcliffe and Wheelock Graduate School of Education, Ms. Campbell holds a C.A.S. from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a founding board member of the Boston Women's Heritage Trail. Ms. Campbell has lived in
Dorchester, where she raised two daughters, for more than twenty years.
Mbakwe Okafor is CACS’ Director of Athletics and nutrition instructor. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a concentration in African American Studies. During his time at Holy Cross, he coordinated the Rev. Scroggin S.C.O.R.E. (Successful Community Organizations and Reaching for Excellence) basketball league serving young people throughout
Worcester. Mr. Okafor's professional experience has focused on developing leadership skills and special projects in urban communities, while mentoring youths to seek successful avenues in Education and Athletics.
