Bill has accomplished this feat on 7 previous occasions while raising nearly $95,000 for charities in the process. Out of that amount, he has raised $40,000 for the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
2008 marked the 5th Anniversary of the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation raising awareness through the Boston Marathon.

Bill and Sean helped raise
$7,831.80 for the Lown Foundation.
100% of the funds raised from this year's Heart2Heart Run will be donated to the Lown Foundation in Brookline, MA, where Bill was treated for his heart arrhythmia.
For contributions of $100 or more, donors will receive a beautiful, handmade glass cateye bead bracelet with two silver engraved hearts, designed by Jo-C.
