Ashanti-ProCor Project

“The Ashanti-ProCor Project to Increase CVD Knowledge and Practice Among Health Workers” is a four-year pilot project developed by ProCor in collaboration with Dr. Bernard Nkum, a cardiologist in Kumasi, Ghana, and former Developing World Fellow at the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation.

The goal of the Ashanti-ProCor Project is to increase access to, and application of, useful information about cardiovascular disease prevention among health workers in the Ashanti region in order to promote health among its citizens. Globally, findings from the project will be publicized, and tools and processes developed by the project will be freely disseminated for adaptation and adoption in diverse settings.

For more information, look at ProCor's page about the project.
